Hop, Skip, and Jump Into Spring
As we move into March, the days lengthen and signs of spring appear. Although weather is still unpredictable in many areas, thankfully the severe winter storm season wanes. Simultaneously, the sun’s increasing warmth reminds us of the renewal that accompanies springtime: Gardeners are planning for planting and bird watchers are seeing early migrators– it’s a time of newfound energy. And, with that, it becomes an ideal time for recommitment to any goals that were set around the new year.
No matter how well we maintain a daily routine that supports what we want to achieve, spring is an opportunity for us to renew our commitments towards achieving our personal, career, or family-oriented goals.
I find it easy to list the goals that I want to achieve and to plan out how to achieve them. Yet, on the other hand, it can be difficult to create the daily habits to reach those goals. To make it easier for you to accomplish your goals, here is a simple way to start your day:
While holding your llinea™ monk fruit-sweetened beverage of choice, sit comfortably in a quiet place, and, with your eyes closed, take a deep breath and exhale s-l-o-w-l-y. Now, breathing normally, visualize three to five goal-related actions you wish to accomplish during your day. In doing this habitual morning routine, you will create a higher sense of calmness while also setting your intentions to solidify your actions for the rest of the day. Overall, it’s a simple, soothing way to begin the day in contemplation of what’s important to you!
…Hop, skip, and jump into action this spring!...
